The ceremonies of Freemasonry afford instruction to all members, supplemented by
various other activities such as seminars, lectures, workshops, reading and use of
audio visual materials and the Internet.

The Grand Lodge has advocated education of members since its foundation years, by
appointment of a Grand Lecturer and formation of the Freemasons' Library and Museum
collection.   In more recent times the Masonic Education Correspondence Course was
devised, as well as an Induction Course and a Leadership Course.

The Education Committee of the Grand Lodge has responsibility for provision of
educational services to the membership.
