| Proposed into
Freemasonry by his father and seconded by his uncle, Graham was
initiated into Duke of Leinster Lodge No. 363, Irish Constitution, in
1969 and continues his membership of that Lodge. Graham commenced employment with the South Australian Gas Company where he met his wife Pat. They were married in 1968, and have two sons and a grandson. During the time that Graham and Pat owned and operated a general store at Wanilla on the Lower Eyre Peninsula, Graham joined Port Lincoln Lewis Lodge. On moving to Gawler Graham joined the Lodge of Fidelity No.5, the oldest country Lodge in South Australia, where he was Master in 1988 and again in 2001. He is a member of Eyre Mark Lodge, Gawler Mark Lodge, Gawler Royal Ark Mariners Lodge, Gawler Royal Arch Chapter and of Duke of Leinster Mark Lodge and Royal Arch Chapter. Graham was appointed a Grand Steward in 1993 and progressed through a number of ceremonial offices culminating as Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2000. He has served as an elected member of the Board of Management, and also on several Board Committees. In 2003 Graham was installed as Deputy Grand Master, and was elected to be Grand Master at the October 2005 Grand Communication. After his time on Eyre Peninsula Graham returned to Adelaide as a computer analyst with Bennett & Fisher, later joining Santos Ltd where he is a Company Secretary, responsible for the many subsidiary companies in the group. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and a member of the National Institute of Accountants. Graham endeavours to keep fit through gym work and jogging.
